BROWN SHEEP
MILL END ROVINGS

This is the way the mill end rovings arrive
at The Sheep Shed Studio.  They then
must be removed from the bags and
sorted.
THESE ROVINGS ARE MILL ENDS!!!!
They are not perfect, they have been tossed
in boxes, put in bags, hauled.  They are top
spinning and felting fibers, but may not be
exactly as pictured.
The Whites
The whites come in a variety
of sizes and shapes.  If they
have pink in them, it means
they have mohair in the mix
(85% wool, 15% mohair).  We
try to pull out all superwash
when we find it, but it is
possible that we might miss
some.
The  Brown Tones
we have a wide array of brown tones.    
Dark, medium or light brown tones.
Wide or narrow striping.  If you have a
preference we will try to fill it.  If we
cannot,  we will ship the next closest
colorway.
The Black Tones
We have a wide array of black tones.
Lots of striping in Dark, Medium and
Light shades.  If you have a
preference we will try to fill it.  If we
cannot, we will ship the next closest
colorway.
Grab Bags
$6.25 per pound

Grab bags are filled with the
fibers that don't fit the roving
category.  The fiber might be
filmy batts like the one shown
on the right or short pieces of
roving, handfuls of fibers, cut
pieces, or a combination of all.  
All are spinable, most are felting
material.  It might all be one
color of fiber, or might be
assorted colors

the good longer rovings
for the Mill End Roving
Selection.  All rovings
are a minimum of one
foot in length and the
entire order may be all
in one long roving.
We try very hard to
pick out all Superwash
but we cannot
guarantee that we
might not miss some.

Rovings....
The Black/Brown Rovings will most likely have some thin white mohair in
the blend.  Once in awhile we get just the black/brown rovings.
We have had requests on larger orders of a
color that we send a pound of several styles of
rovings.....therefore we are offering this mix.  
You will have at least one pound of a style in
your order.  Minimum order one 2 lb. unit
